The Secret of Old Man (Original Documentary Soundtrack)

  It was very exciting for me to make this soundtrack. Because I had to write music for an event that happened in my hometown, and on the other hand, it was a very unique and special event.The old man had a special effect on me as a child, and every time I looked at his work and walked into his garden, it seemed like a strange garden to me. 

  It was a big challenge for me that I had to take a lot of risks.I had to write music for the old man and his special work that has the identity of my hometown, my country and a world sound. The music of my hometown and the province has unique scale and instruments, and the traditional music of Iran has different conditions.

   I actually had to apply several layers of musical identity together. I have been researching the music of my hometown (Sirjan) since 2017 and I have encountered new and exciting events and from 2019, we started writing and recording this album. Of course, the regional diversity during the production of this album complicated the recording conditions. Sorna and Ney instruments have been used as the main melodic instruments and Dohol and Neqare instruments have been used as the main percussion instruments. 

  Other instruments include the instruments of Sirjan city as the main reference, Kerman province, Iran and world orchestral instruments. This album has two distinct themes, both of which were written in Dashti system. I did my best to be able to create a new identity from the existing ones and I do not know how successful I was, but I hope that everyone who listens to this album will open the door to a new world.
